Angel City Pilz is a crisp golden pilsner decoction brewed in the style

City Ale
A malty amber
ale. Michael describes it as an American styled ESB. It is medium
gravity with a malty middle, beautiful color and sparkling clear. Angel
City Ale utilizes Yakima Golding hops in three kettle additions to give
it a subdued yet complex bittering which provides a thirst quenching dry

Angel City Vitzen
An authentic
German styled unfiltered wheat beer. Vitzen is the phonetic spelling for
the German "Weizen", which means wheat beer. "Hefe", pronounced Hay fa,
means with yeast and refers to the cloudy appearance of the unfiltered
beer. Angel City Vitzen uses the Weinstephan wheat beer yeast which
gives the beer it's spicy flavor. Michael points out that this beer
illustrates how much yeast can influence the flavor and aroma of beer
and anyone who has been to Germany can attest to it's authenticity. |

locally brewed and not pasteurized. Angel City Lager utilizes German
malts and yeast and Czech Saaz hops, arguably the finest hops in the

Angel City Dunkel
Our newest
beer, a rich dark lager. Brewed with six different malts, Angel City
Dunkel is seamlessly smooth where even the hops take a back seat to the
upfront rich dark malt flavors. Not unlike a porter or stout, Angel City
Dunkel is a brew worthy of deep contemplation.

Angel City IPA
Finally the beer that many of you have been
waiting for! India Pale Ale Big and Bold, just like the beer crafted two
centuries ago in England that was shipped around the "Horn of Africa" to
those thirsty British Troops in India. Angel City IPA is made with
English Pale Malt and is bittered and generously dry-hopped with Golding
Hops. This beer is not for the faint of heart, but because it is so well
balanced it will be enjoyed by many. |

Abbey
A STRONG Belgian ale with a whopping 8% alcohol by
volume. Made with Belgian malts and Belgian yeast, Angel City Abbey is
also made with brewing sugar, the Belgian technique for making beer.

Charlie Parker Pale Ale
Charlie Parker 1920-1955 "Bird" whose incredible alto saxophone virtuosity and pioneering use
of advanced tonalities coupled with his blues-drenched hard driving swing, led Parker to invent
Bebop and the foundations of modern Jazz. "Bird Lives"

Lester Young Porkpie Hat Dark Lager
Lester Young, 1909-1959 "Prez" was nicknamed by Billie Holiday because he was "President of the Saxophone". Lester's light and airy
tenor saxophone tone, his lyrical lines, combined with behind the beat phrasing and unerring ability to swing, led Prez to become the father of the "Cool" school of Jazz.

Rahsaan Roland Kirk Stritch Stout
Rahsaan Roland Kirk 1936-1977 was a blind Jazz musician playing tenor sax, flute and other self-invented instruments simultaneously,
interspersed with comic and political rantings. Kirk is probably most famous for his flute solo on the "Austin Powers" themesong.
